I've Always Loved Words

My family affectionately calls my writing "novels," whether I'm responding to a simple text message or writing a heartfelt card for a celebration. I've been this way for as long as I can remember. I'm the "word person" in the family.

No writing or editing task is out of my wheelhouse. Present your theme, idea, testimony, devotional, story, manuscript, resume, or professional materials, and I'm ready to create, refine, and write alongside you.

My career background encompasses technical writing, website text management, and engaging social media content. I have written and edited work policies, procedures, training materials, onboarding presentations, quick reference guides, and standard operating procedures. Throughout my involvement as a Chamber Ambassador, I oversaw social media engagement and promotional content for women's networking initiatives and assisted with website and marketing content for my family's insurance business.

From networking event recaps and marketing materials to testimony books, professional documents, and resumes, I genuinely love helping others communicate clearly and effectively. My goal is for every author, business owner, and professional I work with to feel seen, heard, and supported throughout the process.

It is an honor to watch your masterpiece come to life.

Why "Refining Your Masterpiece?"

As I was beginning this journey into writing and editing, a childhood memory came rushing back.

Growing up, my mom often joked that I was obsessed with details. If she asked me how my day went, I'd respond with a full story, talking a million-miles-a-minute, with far more information than she could keep up with. She taught me how to filter through my thoughts, edit my story, and encouraged me to write and draw all the details before presenting them to her.

What I remember most is that whenever I proudly shared my finished work, she would smile and declare in her best Italian restaurant owner voice:

"IT'S A MASTAPIECE!"

It always made me laugh. More importantly, it made me feel like what I created mattered.

Years later, that memory still makes me smile.

Today, I believe every project entrusted to me already contains something meaningful and valuable. My role isn't to change your voice, it's to help refine it, strengthen it, and allow it to shine.

Because every masterpiece deserves thoughtful refinement.

When I'm Not Writing

You can find my husband, Erik, and me traveling, walking our yellow Labrador, Winnie the Pooch, snuggling with our two tabby cats, Mr. Atticus Finch and Tel Aviv, and reading our Bibles together on the lanai.

I love to enjoy God's creation in motion on a prayer walk in the trees or on the beach. Whether it's a Pilates or strength training class, I have yet to meet a workout I didn't like. I grew up tent camping every year with my dad and two brothers, and I believe this is where a true love of staying active and enjoying time outdoors began.

Friendships that feel like family, strong church community, and my faith mean so much to me. I currently serve on our church prayer team and as a commissioned coach for high school girls in youth ministry.

One of the things God has spoken most deeply to me in this season is gratitude. One of my favorite verses is:

“Then King David went and sat [in prayer] before the LORD, and said, ‘Who am I, O Lord GOD, and what is my house (family), that You have brought me this far?’”
— 2 Samuel 7 (AMP)

This verse reminds me so much of God I'm Just Grateful by Elevation Worship and Chandler Moore. The lyric captured exactly what was already on my heart:

"Who am I that You keep me on Your mind?
God, I'm just grateful for You.
All my life, You've been right here by my side.
God, I'm just grateful for You."

The truth is, I wouldn't be here without Him.

Every opportunity and every closed door, every answered prayer and every not yet, have been unexpected blessings and a part of His story for my life. This business is no different, and I consecrate my business daily to Him to be used by Him.

My faith influences every part of my life, and it naturally shapes the way I serve clients as well: with integrity, prayer, encouragement, and a genuine desire to honor the work God has placed before me.
